At Gen Institute we are dedicated to providing all our students with the best support services, so that they achive both  successful academic and personal experience. In addition to the Student support services, international students are provided with a range of specialist services such as assistance with English language, career-related matters, including resume-writing and interview practice. Students can also access welfare-related support services, information on social and sporting activities and referrals to other specialist services, including health, dental, counseling and legal. These services are made available to all Gen Institute students.

Gen Career Management Support – GCMS program

The Gen Career Management Support – GCMS Program is free to all Gen Institute Students. Students who complete the program will gain a Certificate from the College.

The program is very practical and will help you manage your career, identify career opportunities and develop strategies and an action plan. The program will assist with time Management, Resume Writing, Preparing for interviews, etc.

Resumes and Cover Letters

A Resume is a 3-4 pages document that is used to market an individual. The purpose of a resume is to market your skills and experience and to get an interview.

International requirements and conventions for Resumes differ, so it is important to know how to prepare your Resume and Cover Letter so that it meets the requirements of the country you are seeking to work in.
